Remember to pack your passports

You would think that passports would be the first thing packed when planning a European motorhome holiday, but we all hear a lot of horror stories about people who’ve forgotten theirs. So, you need to double and triple check you have them all with you before leaving home. Put them in a safe place, and everything will be fine.

Download fuel station apps to your smartphone

While every single one of our motorhomes come with a full tank of fuel, if you’re traveling across Europe you will need to replenish this from time to time. The main problem is, your route might take you into areas where fuel stations are few and far between. So, it’s essential that you download an app to your smartphone that lets you know where the nearest ones are. That should limit the chances of you experiencing problems on the road.

Plan your route in advance

We allow you to travel wherever you like on the continent in our motorhomes, and so it’s important that you plan your route ahead of time, especially if there are some specific places you’d like to see. Maybe you’d like to start in France, make your way through Holland before checking out somewhere a little more obscure like Norway. You’ll find lots of route planning tools online for this so just make sure you don’t forget to pack your sat nav!

Give yourself plenty of time to get home

If you’re late back, you might incur extra charges on your motorhome bill, so we always advise our customers to give themselves plenty of time to make it home. It’s not the end of the world if you’re a day late, but just make sure you call us and keep us updated on the situation.

Well folks, that’s about it for now, but we hope you’ve gained some amazing ideas from this post.

Have a fantastic time!
